Patience Mukuyu is a researcher in Transboundary Water Management at the International Water Management Institute (IWMI). She specialises in Transboundary water management, water governance, water, energy, and food nexus and water resources management.
Patience has worked within private consulting firms involved in environmental management. She has five years of experience as a water quality scientist with national agencies in Zimbabwe. She obtained her Master’s degree at IHE-Delft Institute for Water Education and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. qualification in Development studies where she looks at equitable water allocation and how this is conceived and perceived by small-scale water users in a South African catchment. Patience has worked in the Southern African region and is currently based in South Africa.
