International Day of Women and Girls in Science

February 11, 2016

The UN has declared February 11 as the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. In order to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), scientific excellence and gender equality are key, and ensuring equitable participation in science is one way to further this cause. WLE is celebrating by highlighting the work of some of our women scientists through their contributions to the Thrive Blog
