Some work by the World Bank (Working Paper No. 2011/74) in Rwanda indicated that the investment benefits associated with land registration were more pronounced for women. This was based on pilot registration areas - we're still waiting on some further research conducted by the Bank which may look at this issue in more detail in the context of the national registration.
