Links to additional on-line resources Pesticide Action Network (PAN) is a network of non governmental organizations, institutions and individuals in over 60 countries working to replace the use of hazardous pesticides with ecologically sound alternatives. The PAN Pesticides Database brings together a diverse array of current toxicity and regulatory information on pesticides. Information about Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs), and the negotiations to eliminate them, can be found at this page on the UNEP site: The FAO Program for Community IPM in Asia currently supports advisory and training activities based on the Farmers Field School (FFS) in 12 countries. This site includes links to a wide variety of sites on sustainable agriculture, pesticides and health. The Systemwide Program
on IPM is an Inter-Center Initiative of the CGIAR to develop a coherent
response to key issues and challenges affecting IPM research and implementation.
