The aim of this project is to improve management of water and land resources for increased food production and to better the livelihoods of the farming community in tropical rainfed agroecoregions. This will be carried out by enhancing the understanding of the limiting constraints, available opportunities and future potentials for improving the productivity of agriculture in tropical rainfed systems. This assessment will then identify key areas that need further investigation, and also provide insights into future potentials from rainfed agriculture.
