WLE aims to support national governments, private investors and donor agencies to better target investments in water, land, energy and agriculture so that they are sustainable and socially inclusive, and national growth and poverty goals can be met without degrading the natural resource base. In the Mekong, the programme’s objective is to generate and share the knowledge and practice needed to improve the governance and management of water resources in the Greater Mekong Region. Together with partners, WLE -Greater Mekong contributes new tools and approaches to better Natural Resources Development and management that account for ecosystem values and services.
