Winston Yu is a Senior Water Resources Specialist at the World Bank. He has extensive experience working on technical and institutional problems in the water sector and has carried out several investment projects in a variety of developing countries (e.g. India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, China, Ethiopia, Ukraine, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Poland). He is currently serving as a technical member of the Water and Society Committee of the American Geophysical Union and serving on the Technical Committee of the Global Water Partnership. He is currently also an Adjunct Professor at the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) at Johns Hopkins University where he teaches a course on international water issues in development and on the water-energy-food nexus. He holds a PhD and MS in environmental science and engineering from Harvard University.
