Surajit is Regional Researcher and Water Risk and Data Sciences Specialist at IWMI, based in Colombo.
His areas of expertise include RS & GIS tool development and customization for Natural resources and disaster risk management, Cloud computing and Geo-Big data analytics management.
Previously, Surajit worked for the International Centre for Agricultural Research in Dryland areas (ICARDA), India, and the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS/ISRO). He is proficient in English, Hindi and Bengali.
