Nilu is a Communications Consultant working for the CGIAR Research Program on Water, Land and Ecosystems (WLE). She counts over 20 years of multi-disciplinary experience in the spheres of Program Management, Media & Communication, Human Resources Development and Software Project Management. Nilu qualified from University of Colombo, with a B.Sc in 1998 (Mathematics), and an MBA (with Merit Pass) in 2005. She also pursues investigative-journalism writing for the Daily Mirror newspaper in Sri Lanka and the Lanka Woman Magazine. Nilu serves as the Secretary General of the Confederation of Micro, Small and Medium Industries (COSMI).
