Charity Osei-Amponsah is a Regional Researcher in Social Transformation at the International Water Management Institute (IWMI). Her expertise includes social transformation and rural development, governance and policy analysis and advocacy, institutional and political economy analysis, innovation systems and agricultural partnerships.
Before joining IWMI, Charity worked at the Science and Technology Policy Research Institute of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR-STEPRI), Ghana. She led social science research under the Africa Research in Sustainable Intensification for the Next Generation (Africa RISING) project and conducted research under the Inclusive Development on Agricultural Partnerships project implemented by Wageningen University, Netherlands.
Charity has a PhD in Agriculture from Wageningen University & Research.
