Dr Birhanu Zemadim Birhanu is a project manager and senior scientist, at the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) in West and Central African Regional Centre, located in Bamako Mali. He is a former postdoctoral fellow at the International Water Management Institute (IWMI) and Assistant Professor at Bahir Dar University in Ethiopia.
