Nature-based Solutions Research Showcase 1
13:45–15:00 UTC
Tuesday 18 May is the Nature-based Solutions (NbS) day at Climate Exp0. NbS hold significant potential in addressing the causes and consequences of climate change and biodiversity loss. As such, they have a key role to play in delivering on the targets and commitments set out by countries under the international climate change framework.
In ‘Nature-based solutions Research Showcase session 1’, an array of speakers will present their research on topics covering agriculture, biodiversity, REDD+, off-setting and water management.
Dr Fabrice DeClerck will present the findings of WLE’s evidence review for UK FCDO, arguing that nature-positive agriculture must be part of the solution to meeting global goals on food, nutrition and climate security.
