Fred Kizito joined CIAT in February 2013, and his work is focused on interactions between agriculture and environment, restoring degraded landscapes and sustainable intensification at multiple scales. He has previously worked for the International Water Management Institute where he provided hydrological modeling research support at landscape levels. He holds a PhD in soil science from Oregon State University, US.
